My third day in Netherlands, precisely in Rijswijk, a small suburban near the capital, Den Haag. Me, Lotte and Thedmer were planning to meet up in Amsterdam, which is 50 minutes away from my place, perhaps only 10 minutes from Lotte’s, and an hour from Thedmer’s place. A day before, we were all in agreement that we’ll meet up at 11.00 am and they (Lotte and Thed) would wait at a white coffee shop in front of the Amsterdam Centraal Station. I was seven minutes late. I arrived in Amsterdam at eleven past seven and decided to rush to the coffee shop but no one was there!! I was like, “Oh Snap! They left!”

Beforehand, I told Lotte that I’ll be there at 10.52 am, yet since I missed my train, I was 15 minutes late, and so I thought Lotte and Nathan (he later didn’t show up) decided to leave! So anyway, it turned out that none of them came to Amsterdam because of some sort of miscommunication, lol. So, I tried to go online with my American number, and they thought we canceled the meeting because nobody replied to the Facebook post. By the end, Lotte and Thedmer showed up and we walked around Amsterdam, and Lotte became our tour-guide for that day. Both of us (Lotte and I) were still jet-lagged because we both arrived in Amsterdam from San Francisco on Monday.

It was an awesome day. Lotte brought me and Thedmer to so many places, I couldn’t remember the names other than the museum, the iamsterdam thingy, a cool turkish restaurant, some markets, and some other places that I couldn’t describe in here! Too bad I didn’t take a picture since my camera was running out of battery! Booooooooooooo…..!

Next Tuesday, I’ll be meeting up with Thomas and Thedmer in Utrecht!!~~
