    Switzerland - Rösti! : Continuing Day 3

The next thing we do after went over Thun was going to Niesen. We took the train from Thun to Mülenen, and then took a funicular to the top of Niesen. Other alternative is to hike, which took about five-hour of hiking, considering that Niesen is 2362 meters above the sea level. It has a perfect shape like a pyramid, and the view from the top of the mountain is strikingly mesmerizing. After seeing my photos, a friend of mine told me, “This is too beautiful to be true! BREATHTAKING,” and another friend of mine said, “Will heaven going to look like this?”

We didn’t hike uphill because we didn’t have enough time, instead, we hiked downhill for an hour and a half until the middle station. One thing must I remind you: please use hiking shoes. The path is very narrow, rocky and can be very steep and slippery, or else you will regret all the way down, just like I did.

Big Thanks to Andrea who took the picture :)

As soon as we got home, another typical Swiss dish was already waiting: Rösti and Bratwurst. Rösti consists of potatoes, and is considered to be Swiss national dish. We had it for our dinner and it was very mouthwatering, especially if you love potatoes like I do. It was fantastic.

At night after dinner, we hanged out in Mühleplatz, Thun, with Christine’s friends, Lea, and Tobias at a genuinely classy restaurant/bar by the river, called Fluss. We sat on the gazebo underneath a tree. Perfect way to end my last night in Switzerland.

    Last destination, Bern!
